BOATING RULES

 

  1. Boats must have Illinois registration numbers and be displayed in the appropriate place on the boat.  All Illinois boating laws apply on McCullom Lake.

 

  1. McCullom Lake residents will be allowed no more than (2) boat posts.

 

  1. Twenty-two boats will be allowed to be left at the launch site at the cost of $20.00 per

post, per season.  Boats found at the launch site that are not recorded as having permits, will be removed at owner’s expense and will be charged a $25 a month storage

fee.

 

  1. Maximum length for boats is 14 feet.  Maximum horsepower for motors is 10 or 25 hp for pontoon boats.

         

  1. There is no parking on the road to the launch or at the launch site.  You are allowed a short time is allowed to unload equipment; then the vehicle and trailer must be returned to the parking lot.

 

  1. Boats may be moored at the posts April 1 through October 31.  Boats must be removed

by October 31, or they will be removed at owner’s expense, and a $25 per month

storage fee will be charged.

 

  1. The Village of McCullom Lake is not responsible for any theft or damage to boats.

 

8.   Keys to the boat launch may be purchased separately.  The annual fee is $5.00.  Keys must be returned by November 1st.
