REGULAR MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES,

 HELD AT THE EVANGELICIAL FREE CHURCH 2614 N. RICHMOND ROAD,

MCCULLOM LAKE, ILLINOIS.

President Counley called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Roll Call:  By the Village Clerk, Sherri L. Messina

 

Present:  President Counley, Attorney Shaw, Trustees Bitterman, Walter, Shepit, Fritz, Bogacz and Matthesius.

 

Trustee Fritz made a motion to accept the minutes with typo corrections; seconded by Trustee Bogacz.  Voice vote:  Bitterman, Walter, Shepit, Fritz, Bogacz, Matthesius=ayes.  All in favor motion carried.

 

Treasurers Report:  Trustee Matthesius made a motion to approve the Treasurers Report; seconded by Trustee Bogacz.  Voice vote:  Bitterman, Walter, Shepit, Fritz, Bogacz, Matthesius=ayes.  All in favor, motion carried.

 

Payables:  Trustee Walter made a motion to pay the bills; seconded by Trustee Shepit.  Voice vote:  Matthesius, Bogacz, Fritz, Shepit, Walter, Bitterman=ayes.  All in favor, motion carried.

 

Audience:  Resident has asked permission to put in a culvert in his circular drive.  Board directed him to see the Building Inspector about a permit for it.

 

 

Old Business: Ordinance to Approve a Text Amendment to Section 11.2 – It is the Zoning Board’s recommendation to Approve this Text Amendment with added verbiage to include time’s of operation.  Trustee Matthesius made a motion to approve Ordinance #435 – An Ordinance Approving a Text Amendment to Section 11.2 of the Village of McCullom Lake’s Zoning Ordinance; seconded by Trustee Bogacz.  Voice vote:  Bitterman, Walter, Shepit, Fritz, Bogacz, Matthesius=ayes.  All in favor, motion carried.

 

Ordinance Amending Section 6.5-9 of the Code of Ordinances – Trustee Shepit made a motion to approve Ordinance #436 – An Ordinance Amending Section 6.5-9 of the Code of Ordinances for the Village of McCullom Lake to include limited hours of operation 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Sunday thru Thursday and 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. on Friday and Saturday; seconded by Trustee Fritz.  Voice vote:  Bitterman, Walter, Shepit, Fritz, Bogacz, Matthesius=ayes.  All in favor, motion carried.

 

New Business:  Liquor License’s – Trustee Walter made a motion to approve the Liquor License for All Sports Bar & Grill; seconded by Trustee Fritz.  Voice vote:  Bitterman, Walter, Shepit, Fritz, Bogacz, Matthesius=ayes.  All in favor, motion carried.

Trustee Fritz made a motion to approve the Liquor License for Sunrise Foods & Liquor; seconded by Trustee Shepit.  Voice vote:  Bitterman, Walter, Shepit, Fritz, Bogacz, Matthesius=ayes.  All in favor, motion carried.

 

Communication:  Can there be a discount on Village Sticker’s for vehicles plated with Antique Plates – this will be added to the next meeting’s agenda.

 

Neighbors Helping Neighbors will meet Monday April 2nd, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at the home of Mike Fritz.  There is still a Public Hearing on Aggregation April 3rd, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. even though the referendum did not pass.  There is talk about an Opt In discussion.  Attorney Shaw will look into it.

 

West End & Orchard has lots of gravel from the snowplowing.  There is dumping going on in Forest Glen.  Neighbors Helping Neighbors will be going out on April 28th, 2012 and this area will be added to their list.

 

Trustee Walter made a motion to adjourn the Regular board meeting at 7:44 P.M. and go into Execution Session for Contract Negotiations; seconded by Trustee Shepit.  Voice vote:  Bitterman, Walter, Shepit, Fritz, Bogacz, Matthesius=ayes.  All in favor, motion carried.

 

Trustee Walter made a motion to go back into Regular Session at 8:18 P.M.; seconded by Trustee Shepit.  Voice vote:  Bitterman, Walter, Shepit, Fritz, Bogacz, Matthesius.
