This information is provided to residents regarding the payment of sewer bills.

You may make your sewer payments anytime during regular business hours at the Village Hall located at 4811 West Orchard Drive.  Bills are issued on the 5th (fifth) day of the month and are due on the 25th (twenty-fifth) of the same month. If the 25th is on a Saturday, Sunday or major Holiday, the bills are due on the next business day after the weekend or holiday. Business Days are Monday through Friday except for holidays. Late charges are assessed on all bills received after 4:00 P.M. on the due date.

The Village has a drop box located outside by the bulletin board for your convenience if you can not come in person and choose not to mail your payment. Again you must have it in the drop box no later than 4:00 P.M. on the due date to avoid late fees.

Village ordinance states that the Village may take legal action once the account has become 30 (thirty) days past due. The Village will send a past due letter when the account is 2 (two) months past due. There is an administration fee of $25.00 for every letter the Village sends out. If the account remains past due we will refer it to our legal department to take action, which may include placing a lien on the property, filing a small claim or any other legal action deemed necessary to collect the debt. The property owner must pay all legal fees for these actions. Please avoid additional fees by paying your bill on time.
